Hi,

I am running an Oracle9i server with an instance in archive log mode. Now my archive grows and grows and at some stage will reach the hard disk limits... what can I do ?

Under which circumstances can I delete part of the archive ? And how ? Do I just delete the files or will this mess up the instance's archive and statistics information ? Is there a tool to maintain the archive ?

  Thanks very much,

AH
