OK, I admit it, you got me. I must confess I never did try it; I just fell into the trap of assuming it wouldn't work, since it seemed to me (and still does) to be an entirely pointless thing to try to do.

But (assuming you're correct, and I'm sure you are; I can't try it right now), I stand corrected, and offer apologies to the OP for inaccurate advice.
