I want to create a database link from Oracle 9.2.0 to Microsoft SQL Server. I know this can and has been done on when Oracle is installed on an NT box.

Has anyone been able to do where Oracle runs on a Sun Solaris or any Unix environment?

Searching through metalink it looks as though a third party ODBC driver is needed.

The following companies are a sample of companies that provide ODBC drivers for Oracle on UNIX platforms: - InterSolv/Merant ( http://www.merant.com ) - OpenLink ( http://www.openlinksw.com ) - EasySoft (http://www.easysoft.com). Does anyone know if BT has a licence agreement with any of these or any other companies for ODBC drivers for Unix platform? Received on Tue Feb 04 2003 - 03:20:49 CST
