Re: RH 7.2, svrmgrl fail to startup nomount

Forgot to log in as Oracle user with dba/oinstall group id. Forgot to set ORACLE_SID, parameter file, .... Have you created the database or forgot that too? There is a readme, and some nice readable files on installing in the downloaded set. And there is the database creation assistant for newer wannabe dba's too. There are some nice install log to look at, if you indeed tried to install the database. Hit the books (files)
