I wander if any one can help with this one. I have two Oracle instances on a
Win2k server 816 (Report) and 817(DEV).
Since I installed the second instance I am unable to do a full export from the 816 instance and also am unable to do a normal shutdown as it results in the following error.
For the export the following error
. . exporting table TOAD_PLAN_TABLE 4179 rows exported
. . exporting table TOAD_SECURITY 3 rows exported
. exporting referential integrity constraints
. exporting synonyms
EXP-00008: ORACLE error 4031 encountered
ORA-04031: unable to allocate 4032 bytes of shared memory ("shared
pool","oracle/jdbc/driver/OracleLogSYS","joxlod: in ehe","ioc_allocate_pal")
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully
In the Alert file I see the following
Errors in file f:\oracle816\admin\REPORT\udump\ORA01208.TRC:
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-04031: unable to allocate 4032 bytes of shared memory ("shared
pool","unknown object","joxlod: in ehe","ioc_allocate_pal")
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_JAVA", line 0
ORA-06512: at line 2
The init.ora file for both is very similar
