If my olfactory nerves are still in working order, I think I sniff a double negative here. If the manual tells you not to do it when you're under time pressure, and you're under time pressure, then you are (not to do it)(not to do it), which cancels out to not(not to do it), which simplifies to "What the Hell! Why Not?!"

Worth a go, anyway, I reckon.
