Hello specialists out there,

maybe someone can point me to the right direction to solve following problem:

W2K server as member server in a W2K domain.

Oracle 9.2 has been installed under the local administrator account.

When logging on with local administrator account, I can open the 'enterprise manager console', launch standalone, point to a database and doubleclick on it. Then the password window opens, I enter the sys account + psw and log on as sysdba... so no problem here..

When logging on with a domain account on that same machine (and that particular account is also member of the local administrators group for that machine, and also member of the ORA_DBA group), I can do the same thing BUT: after entering the sys account + psw, and when clicking on the OK button: nothing happens (even when entering a non-existant username + psw: no reaction at all). The logon window is not frozen, as clicking on cancel simply closes the window.

What is wrong here?

Thanks in advance for any advice on this,
