I am experiencing problems installing Oracle 9.2.0.1 on a dual Pentium-4 Xeon 2.8GHz, 2 GB RAM Dell 4600 server running RedHat 8.0.

All software is installed and linked without any error messages, but when dbca runs it always stops when the database creation is 96 pct completed.

Has anyone seen this problem before?

I tried a similar installation on another machine (P-4/1.8GHz 768 MB), and that installation completed successfully...

Any tips and hints will be appreciated.
