The answer depends, of course, on the current dress code for the employer in question. Presumably at a nudist colony the dress code would be epidermis only ...

That being said, if your employer enforces shirt and tie (for the men) then the DBA must comply. Likewise, if business casual is the norm, so dresses the DBA.

By the way, of what importance is this to production database issues?
