Yup, it does that when you create the database using the GUI tool. I've no idea why. Run with it, and then when the database is up and running, modify the spfile (or init.ora) so that the Java Pool is set to zero.

The database will come up fine after that.

And if it doesn't, you can increment the setting by whatever takes your fancy until it does.
