You can look up any error code in the online docs at http://tahiti.oracle.com. But what I usually do is start up Google and search for the error code (just type 'ora-0600' in the search field). A lot of the hits from Google are simply universities that have put the same documentation online ... but sometimes it's from real-world users who supply a real-world solution.
