MS provide a menu option for the 'SQL Server Upgrade Wizard' which converts 6.5 into 2000 when you install 2000. It's totally painless, and you won't need to know a thing about 6.5 to use it.

Besides, your chances of obtaining a copy of 6.5 are now rather slim.

I suspect your best bet might be amazon.com -and pray they still have copies of 'how to learn 6.5 in 21 days' or similar, which used to come with a 120-day evaluation copy.
