Sorry for the lack of info.

I've been trying to get it running on Debian. Just installed Debian from the web a week ago so I assume I've got the latest and greatest code. So late and great indeed that I had to go and get some older gcc libraries that Oracle was requesting.

I have indeed thought about running Oracle on a supported distro. In fact, I may just say To Hell With Linux (for the DB server) and run it under XP. But it would have been nice to get it working with Debian.
