Geez, is it hot in here or what?
I believe you will find there is a "bug"/conflict with any
Pentium 4 and the Oracle installer specifically if you
are using XP. I believe it had something to do with
the differences in the version of the JRE on the
Oracle installation disk and the native JVM running
in windows. I actually thought I had a link to the
work-around, but it must be at work.
Check the Oracle site for installation notes.
