It wasn't "propaganda". I use it. I know it. It's free (for a trial). And it works (albeit unsupported by Oracle). Three-node RACs on a laptop. Application Server. Standby Database. Streams. All working reliably.

I will check out this Bochs thing. If it works, I'd be happy to recommend it next time someone wants two machines on a PC.
