9i Universal Installer dies on RedHat 7.1

Hey Folks,

I've encountered a peculiar problem where the 9i Universal Installer cuts out right after the screen that asks for the installation type (enterprise, standard, or custom). I've gone through the process a number of times trying the various installation types, but it keeps failing. I check out the installation log and these are the errors/warnings I can see:

The .err and .out logs are empty. I'm really not sure if there is anything wrong here. I'm not concerned with RAC so I don't care that this is failing. I do care that the whole installation is failing though.

Does anyone have a solution for this?
