Did you check the meaning of IMP-00037 in the error manual (available on http://tahiti.oracle.com)?
It looks like you don't have a proper dump file. Was the file made with the EXP utility?
If it was FTP-ed to your PC, was it done in binary mode? (If in ascii, you corrupted the file).
