Jeff,

Is is quite an old low-spec box. It has an AMD-K6 3D processor and also 512MB Ram. It used to have quite a lot of free disk space-17GB, but with 9i/R1 and 9i/R2 installed that has taken up quite a chunk.

From past experience installing Oracle products on Linux RH servers I would imagine that the 512MB min for RAM would be correct for the latest versions of their RBMS's. This is probably as far as this box will take me with Oracle stuff.
