Not Solaris specific, but one word of advice :

don't forget to remove _disable_system_triggers from init.ora after the patch has been done

If you do forget, none of your system triggers will work.

I'm due to apply the 8.1.7.4 server patch in a couple of days time. We're on Solaris 2.8.

Has anyone encountered any problems with this patch?
