Upgrade to 8174 - there is a bug in earlier versions which causes the
problem you are seeing.
Having said that, this was a bug on HP 64 bit systems running 64 bit Oracle - it *seems* to have been fixed at 8174, but still needs much more shared pool under 817 than under 806.
