About this subject, what is the main reason for installing the OEM in a separate Oracle Home?
While I understand the benefit of a separate db instance, I am not clear with the additional Oracle Home environment that is recommeded in the OEM Administrator's Guide (or similar book title, I don't remember exactly now...).
Well, of course if you want to migrate to a later release while keeping the managed databases in their current state, that's easier, but besides that?
