I'll take a wild stab in the dark and say, "You must be running on a Pentium 4".

Visit www.google.com, click on Groups - Advanced Search, and search for posts containing the words 'Pentium 4' in this newsgroup. You'll find dozens, many explaining how to workaround the issue (basically, renaming a file or three).
