Oracle 9iFS installation problems

I've desperately tried to install 9iFS on top of my brand-new Oracle 9i Enterprise installation, on two different machines. When the 9iFS installation is finished, it tries to run ifsconfig.bat, which fails without providing any detail (the DOS window just pops up and closes again). I cannot start the .bat file manually, either. I have commented out the echo offs, but obviously the launcher does not provide any output.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
