I could be completely wrong, but I think you misunderstand the concept of the SysVinit. The scripts starting with an S are executed when that runlevel is entered. The scripts starting with an K are executed when a runlevel is left.

The numbers give them just an order, in which they are to be executed. So you should create your links to stop your orainstance in the rc3.d and rc5.d.

As you mentioned in the second thread on this list ( I assume it was you?),
you put your links K10dbora in the rc0.d and rc6.d - wrong place.
