7.3.4 not certified for Windows 2000. You may experience problems, and I doubt whether you'll get suppor from Oracle.

Make sure you have your backup in place. The registry settings will be affected, hence you'll need to re-install the Oracle SW. Here is what you'll hear from Oracle;
The first version to be supported on WIN 2000 is V8.1.6 but note that V8.1.6 and all lower version 7 and 8, have been desupported by Oracle.
