If anyone read their last couple of Computerworld issues, they would know that Home Depot has big plans for Data Warehousing ($10M +) and also the retooling of all their PC desktops (an order for 40,000 HP desktops). There was also a mention of doubling their DBA complement from 25 to 50.

While I am sure there are probably five or ten SD area people qualified as Oracle DBA's, finding 25 might be a problem. One thing Home Depot's recruiter needs to learn is (a) specify OCA/OCP as appropriate in addition to real world experience, and (b) specifiy Development or Production DBA (since the two roles are really quite different).
