I'd offer Microsoft's Enterprise Manager, Graphical Explain Plan and DTS.
As to the bigotedness of the group you are clearly not the only one who feels that way. In our defence I would offer these observations though as to how to irritate the frequent posters.
Don't read the concepts manual
Assume all RDBMS products behave the same way
Don't give versions Don't give error messages Don't do a google search for your problem but just ask. Don't give SQL
All of these things happen far far too frequently.
Sorry if this is too much of a lecture, if it is do what all good students do and skip class and go to the bar.
