Fellow Oracle Netters,

I am running Solaris 8 on a Ultra60, with a recent installation of Oracle 9.2.0.1 Enterprise.

The installer reported NO errors and as "successful".

I configured and ran the listener, dbsnmp (intelligent agent) and started the Enterprise Manager GUI ./oemctl start oms with no problems.

I created other instances without a problem.

The problem is: After a while (more than 24 hours or so) the original instance (created with the installer) won't let users to log in using sqlplus, except sys. (The logged in users can continue with their session)

I checked the parameters for this "faulty" instance and appear to be with the original
values as when it started.

Any clue idea/suggestion/thoughts about where to start tackling this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Is there a sql script that I should run?

Regards,
