Hahah...yeah imagine backing up a datawarehouse of Terabytes; maybe the 
guy will be able to restart oracle instance in a week...Seriously i dont 
think the guy is able to backup the database because if so he would be 
able to restore a backup did before to fix what it seems just a logical 
corruption.



Anyway maybe it's me but i really dont think you guys have the right 
idea about what a crash recovery is.
