In fact, there is.
7.3.3 has the CBO fully overhauled, introducing several new access paths, one of them being the index fast full scan access path. IIRC 7.3.3 also introduced the possibility of resizing a datafile, and rebuilding indexes.

7.3.4 is a bug fix release with respect to 7.3.3
