If you don't have too many databases, forget about OEM. I have used several versions up to OEM 2.2. They all have problems, just one after another. It is the worst software out of Oracle. You are right. I could have written scripts to do the same thing with all the time spent on calling support. UNIX scripts are much more reliable and faster.
