Niall,

speaking as a Highlander (and there can be only one !) the true meaning of the word 'Sassenach' (I'd love to hear that pronounced in foreign climes !) is 'Lowlander'. and not necessarily 'Englander' - so don't feel too bad about it :o)

Actually, talking of pronounciation, Laphroaig is another good one :o)
