Hello all,

Here's my problem:

2 db instances on 1 SOlaris machine,
ORACLE_SID has been exported to the db I wish to connect to. listener.ora and tnsnames and sqlnet.ora are in /var/opt/oracle (as symlinks to $ORACLE_BASE/network/admin/...)

when typing the full login (i.e: user/login_at_dbsid) I get in with both DBs when simply typing sqlplus, I get a prompt but I can log in (not even with system/manager) I get a ORACLE not available message.

Can someone help? Received on Wed Aug 28 2002 - 14:29:06 CDT
