Re: oracle 9i configuration problem - need help

I, and several others have written 900+ page books on this. It would be difficult if not impossible to tell you what you need to know in a posting. I would start by having you read the Oracle Concepts manual in the documentation (technet.oracle.com) and then the DBA and tuning manuals.

My book is "Oracle Administration and Management - Including Oracle9i" available at Amazon and Bookpool.
