bearing in mind that UTF8 is a multi-byte character set whereas the other one isn't, you might have problems (as I did) importing into the UTG8 from the WE8ISO one. The reason is that certain accented characters are converted from one byte in WE8ISO to two or more in UTF8.
There is a utility to help you test if there will be any problems with conversion, called the 'charcter set scanner' and it is documented in Oracle 8i documetation addendum manual (for 8.1.7 anyway). For Oracle 9 it is in the 'globalisation support guide'.
