Hi Simon,

   I have connected to a personal edition via the type 4 driver. Since you seem to be getting started, please vist the www.javasoft.com site and browse around.

   Another great resource is java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial. Have a look at the JDBC trail...ah heck, have a look at all the trails ;-)

   You should find the driver in the classes12.zip file which you need to include in your classpath when you execute your application/applet/servlet...
