Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Always have to do startup force to get db started
For some reason, my database won't startup when I type dbstart. I just get
"warm started". My oratab indicates that the database should start. I
have to go into svrmgrl and type startup force everytime. Any idea why?
Here's what I did:
$ dbstart
Database "ora816" warm started.
$ svrmgrl
