Hi,

I've been trying to install Oracle8i 8.1.7 Enterprise on SCO UnixWare 7.1.1 and getting the following error when Installer is run :

$ ./runInstaller
Initializing Java Virtual Machine from
../stage/Components/Oracle.swd.jre/1.1.7/1/DataFiles/Expanded/jre/unixware/bin/jre.Please wait..
mapChunk: mmap failed: Insufficient or invalid memory **Out of memory,exiting**.

The machine configuration is :
PIII 550 Mhz, 128MB RAM, 20GB HDD, UnixWare 7.1.1, 855MB swap. Also the kernel parameters have been adjusted as per Oracle recommendation and rebuilt but to no avail. The above problem still persists.
Please help.

Thanx & Rgds,
