Snapshot too old by gather_schema_stats

Hi,

i have a database running with three Rollbacksegments each 60 Mbyte big. I import data with an application making a commit all 10 Mbyte data transferred ( i calculated on the first transaction the application made by counting the used pages). when i execute dbms_stats.gather_schema_stats i got immediately an snapshot to old error. But there should be more then 40 Mbyte rollbackspace. And the rbsegs can grow until 8Gbyte but they dont grow.

Whats wrong, where can i take a look ?

Please give me a hint
