Jim,

You're right about the support - 7.3.4 is no longer supported. But, according to the Certification Matrix on MetaLink Oracle 7.3.4 is certified to run on Solaris 8.

In answer to your question - yes we're running 7.3.4 on Solaris 8 without problems.
