Who is the owner of that table?

Wouldn't be SYS by any chance would it? (I only ask because I appear not to have such a table in my database, owned by anybody!)

If so, and as I explained earlier, if o7_dictionary_accessibility=false (the default in 9i) then the 'any' keyword doesn't apply to SYS-owned tables.
