IIS and Oracle Apache conflict

I run Windows 2000 Professional, and IIS is running on it. I installed Oracle server 8.1 on my machine, and the Oracle HTTP server (Apache, I guess) took over the default port (i.e. "http://localhost").

I don't want to use Apache, and I need to use IIS on the default port.  I tried to reconfigure Apache to use another port (changed httpd.conf), but this did not help. I even uninstalled Apache. Now when I request "http://localhost" I get "The page cannot be displayed".

How can I make IIS work again?

(I checked the "default web site" properties in the Windows console, and it is configured to use port 80).

Thank you
