I am trying to install oracle 8.1.7 personal on my PC with windows XP. I know it is not supported OS for Oracle 8i. While trying to install it comes out without any message. I was looking for file with symcjit.dll name but could not find. This is my frst installation on windows. going through manual I could not find any clue. any help is aprreciated.
