Oracle 9.2.0 Enterprise Manager: ORA-00942: Table or view does not exist

Hi everyone,

I did the following installations and configurations which ended p with an error:

installed Oracle 9.2.0 enterprise server on Windows 2000
created fresh Oracle instance on it.
ran emca to create repository and configure service for OEM
installed OEM client on different Win2000 computer
connected to OEM and detected node that holds the instance with the repository.
Tried to open several nodes in OEM's navigation tree under the database, like "sessions", "users", "roles", "profiles", "tablespaces" and so on.... they all gove me this error message:

ORA-00942: Table or view does not exist

What could be the cause of this and how can I trace/fix it ??? Everything used to work fine with my Oracle 8.1.6 installations.... Thank you very much,
