Jarek,

I think you'll need to write a DLL or lib file for each OS you plan to run the system on, and call it via an external procedure. Simply because there isn't any way to use a standard Unix command on Win or Netware etc etc.

Is it possible to determine how much space left on volumes where Oracle data_files reside ?
Is there a PL/SQL package/procedure which returns amount of free server disk
space (or server disk usage ) ?
I'd like know free disk space, NOT FREE tablespace size.
