I forgot to mention, the only way I know to get the HWM down is to truncate the table, but that moves the HWM down to the size of the INITIAL extent - so I'm back in the same position of having a spare 60 odd blocks in my table that I cannot reclaim - unless I rebuild the table from scratch.
