I would like to install Oracle Parallel Server on Linux Operating System. The nodes already contain a hardware watchdog, which is using (permanently writing to) the /dev/watchdog device to see, if the node is sill alive.
Can anyone tell, if this is going to be a problem concerning the cluster-manager, which is using this device too. Or does anyone know what Oracle respectively Linux really expects from the watchdog device?

Greetings
