Hi all,

I still can't start my OMS.

[oracle_at_svr1 oracle]$ oemctrl start oms
OEMCTRL for Linux: Version 2.2.0.0.0
Copyright (c) 1998, 2000, Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved. Starting the Oracle Management Server............ Time out.
Terminated.
[oracle_at_svr1 oracle]$

I checked "oms.nohup" file. You can see the following lines:

Error starting Oracle Management Server. VXA-2017 : No Oracle Management Server servicesStarting the management server at Mon Jul 22 15:37:47 CST 2002
OEMCTRL for Linux: Version 2.2.0.0.0

[main][2002-7-22:2:37:48:553] Vxa -- No OMS services found. OMS Shutting down.

I searched the information about this error code "ora-00942" in an Oracle_learning site. They said I got this error message because this user didn't have enough privilege.
So I just feel very besotted. I don't know where I can assign the user who has this privilege.
