1 oerr ora 7217 on the prompt will get you the exact text of the error message. It looks like you didn't set the environment variable ORACLE_SID to the SID of the instance
2 You didn't run ?/rdbms/admin/catproc.sql as internal. This will result in ora-6553
3 You won't get Oracle working without reading the getting started doco.
