Hi Andre,

Not sure you've got it right.

A partition exchange *does not* move data around. It only makes changes to the data dictionary and renames the table to be the partition and renames the partition to be the table (and optionally associated indexes as well). The data remains in the original tablespaces.

Makes sense ?
